Geese, a 5-piece band from Brooklyn, have announced the details of their highly anticipated sophomore album 3D Country, which will be released via Partisan Records. Co-produced by the band and James Ford (known for his work with Arctic Monkeys, Depeche Mode, Shame), the album consists of 11 tracks that showcase an expansive and visionary sound for the group.
In the summer of 2021, Geese burst onto the scene, generating a level of excitement rarely seen for a young American rock band. What started as a plan to release some music and then disband to pursue college suddenly transformed into a whirlwind global tour. The band made their television debut on Colbert, received coverage from prestigious outlets like the NY Times and Rolling Stone, and were even hailed as "indie rock prodigies" by Rolling Stone. They also had the opportunity to tour with acclaimed artists such as Jack White and Spoon.
Throughout this journey, the band underwent a transformation. While the lineup remains the same with vocalist Cameron Winter, guitarists Gus Green and Foster Hudson, bassist Dom DiGesu, and drummer Max Bassin, Geese have evolved into a new entity. 3D Country represents a band unafraid to push boundaries and explore new musical territories, showcasing a group that is constantly reinventing themselves.
