‘Electric Ursa’ is the fourth LP by American folk singer Joan Shelly. The LP was originally released in 2014 but has long been out of print. ‘Electric Ursa’ is as restrained as it is spectacular with instrumentation that takes as much from the world of post-rock as it does to Folk music. This, together with Shelley’s soaring melodies and amazing voice make this LP pretty much essential.
