This body of work is the most honest representation of who I am as a person and an artist. I allowed myself to explore different genres and the songs are so personal. I do find that a bit scary, but I can’t wait for people to hear them. I think they’ll be able to relate and that’s all I want when people listen to my music. ”Mae’s recognisable pop sound has garnered her support from musical peers such as Sam Smith, Mabel, Liam Payne and Little Mix through to Radio 1’s Scott Mills and Huw Stephens as well as receiving praise from the likes of Clash, Wonderland and GQ. Mae spent much of 2019 touring the UK and Europe, seeing her sell out venues across the continent including a headline shows at London’s infamous Heaven, a venue she had been support act at just 11 months prior.
