Laced with dancefloor synth-pop and her signature tender indie sensibility, the record captures the friction between high-sheen glamour and self-doubt. Stepping boldly beyond her critically acclaimed 2024 debut What A Devastating Turn of Events, Chinouriri uses the project to navigate the disorienting haze of her early-to-mid twenties.
The result is a profoundly autobiographical body of work that wrestles with sobriety, femininity, and identity while asking: “If I continue down this path, will I like who I’ll become?”
