Zion recruit a second guitarist, violinist and their first cello player, the band's 2001 second LP 'Born Into Trouble As The Sparks Fly Upward' is a richer, more detailed and denser-sounding album than their debut. The group feature Efrim Manuel Menuck of Godspeed You! Black Emperor and they play a take on emotionally charged post-rock which ups the classical elements. Along with their debut, this is the ideal entry point into the output of this excellent group which is sometimes referred to as The Silver Mt. Zion Memorial Orchestra & Tra-La-La Band.
